MOTHERTONGUE asks: what do we lose when we speak, and what might we gain? Language is a slippery thing. It warps, reshapes, reinvents. This show explores the space between the familiar and the translated, the intimate and the grotesque.
The eight artists of Chaos Collective interrogate communication, memory, and identity across the shifting terrains of language. MOTHERTONGUE is a search for meaning in the gaps – a celebration of what resists translation.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
