Join glass artist Catherine Lowe for this workshop where you will be shown the basics of working with fused glass and then you can choose to make a bowl, plate or platter!

About Fused Glass: Make a Bowl Workshop

During this 2-hour workshop you will be shown the basics of working with fused glass and then you can choose to make a bowl, plate or platter to your own design. There will be ideas in the studio to inspire you.

Explore the amazing world of fused glass and experiment with a variety of techniques and materials.

The workshop will include:
-The health and safety aspects of working with art glass
-An introduction to basic tools used in working with glass
-Basic glass-cutting techniques
-Using different types of glass – sheet, frits and stringers to create designs

All materials and kiln firings are included
Once complete your work is fired in a glass kiln one or two times – depending on what you create.
Finished work can usually be picked up 7 days after attending the workshop – or by arrangement to post out (for a small additional cost)
