Explore the amazing world of fused glass and the you will learn some of the basic skills needed to make 2 coasters and a small plate, platter or bowl in this 3 hours workshop.
Explore the amazing world of fused glass and experiment with a variety of techniques and materials.
The workshop will include:
-The health and safety aspects of working with art glass
-An introduction to basic tools used in working with glass
-Basic glass-cutting techniques
-Using different types of glass – sheet, frits and stringers to create designs
All materials and kiln firings are included
Once complete your work is fired in a glass kiln one two or three times – depending on what you create.
Finished work can usually be picked up 7 days after attending the workshop – or by arrangement to post out (for a small additional cost)
