After a killer shark unleashes chaos on a beach community off Long Island, a local sheriff, a marine biologist and a grizzled old fisherman join forces to hunt the beast down. Released in the summer of 1975, Jaws was one of the films that ushered in the modern blockbuster. It won three Academy Awards, including one for John Williams’ brilliant, unsettling and iconic score.
