Legendary Glasgow venue King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut will mark the hotly anticipated return of Oasis to Scotland with a special screening of Supersonic, the acclaimed documentary film charting the band’s meteoric rise - taking place just two nights before the band’s historic comeback shows.
The screening will be held on 6th August in the very venue where Oasis were famously discovered and signed in 1993. Directed by Mat Whitecross, Supersonic offers a candid and powerful look at the early years of one of the UK’s most influential bands, told in the words of the Gallagher brothers and the people associated with them.
The King Tut’s bar will feature live acoustic sets inspired by the era, bringing the Britpop spirit to life in a fitting tribute.
Tickets for the screening are limited, but fans who miss out can still be part of the evening - the bar will be open on a first come, first served basis, giving everyone the chance to soak up the electric atmosphere in the place where it all began.
Whether you're reliving the glory days or discovering the story for the first time, this special evening at King Tut’s promises to be a celebration of Oasis, their legacy, and the unforgettable part Glasgow played in their journey.
