Celebrate Valentines day with a comical and captivating talk on the history of Love, Lust, and Witchcraft — complete with a hands-on session creating historically inspired mocktails, and make and take home a naughty medieval pilgrim badge!
This adults-only (18+) event will take you on a cheeky journey through the ages, diving into the saucy side of history you definitely didn’t learn at school.
-Were people in the Middle Ages really that prudish?
-Were Victorians truly scandalised by a glimpse of ankle?!
-And how on earth can kneading bread be turned into a love spell?
Discover all this and more in Provan Hall’s historic kitchen, where you’ll also get the chance to mix up some funky and fun mocktails using unusual historical ingredients.
It’s history, but not as you know it — join us for laughs, learning, and a dash of (mocktail) magic!
