Cacao is the raw, minimally processed beans from the Theobroma cacao tree. Cacao is know for being rich in antioxidants, nutrients and flavanols - known to support heart and brain function.

What can cacao do?
Cacao can help connect the heart, body and mind. It is a vasodilator, opening blood vessels and increasing flow. Cacao can allow you to feel connected and better.

Is there anything I should prepare with?
Hydration! Come hydrated and hydrate during the cacao and dance session. Bring water, or a non alcoholic drink of your choice.

Anything else?
Avoid heavy food at least 2hrs beforehand as this helps your body to absorb the cacao better. Bring blankets, a mat, anything that will make you more comfortable.

What cacao do you use?
swapforjoy uses Forever ceremonial grade Cacao grown by the Ashaninka communities in Peru.

What swapforjoy recommends.
It is always beneficial to a little research and check out anything new you are going to try. So we recommend you to do this to help you decide if cacao is suitable for you.
