Michael Flatley's new show Dangerous Games has announced Scottish Dancer Ryan Stevenson will appear in this brand new show coming to Glasgow Royal Concert Hall from 5-7 June. The show has exciting and ground-breaking new technology, including holographs, dancing robots, world champion acrobats and the greatest team of Irish Dancers in the world. A new score composed by Gerard Fahy, new costumes and special effects lighting add a breath-taking new dimension to the original masterpiece.
"My dancers are the real stars," says Michael Flatley of his troupe of dancers, some of whom have been with the company for 10 years. He is immensely proud of their hard work and dedication. On the UK Tour, Morgan Comer stars as the Lord of the Dance with Tom Cunningham playing the Dark Lord.
Ryan Stevenson started dancing at the age of 4 in his hometown of Glasgow where he later went on to dance for the McCutcheon School. He achieved great success winning British National, Great Britain, American National and World Championship titles. At the age of 18, Ryan joined Lord of the dance where he toured the UK and Europe performing with Michael Flatley himself. Since then, he has been dancing between both troupe 1 and troupe 2 across America, Canada, Brazil and many other countries.
Morgan Comer has been with Lord of the Dance since 2012 and recently starred in Dangerous Games at the London Palladium alongside Michael Flatley in 2014. He has previously won a number of titles, including the Great Britain Championships, British National Champions, three Ulster Championships, and, in 2010, he won his first World Championship.
Tom Cunningham has been with Lord of the Dance since 1997. He has won many major awards including several Ulster, British and North American championships, as well as runner-up places in the All-Ireland and World Championships. He has travelled the world with Lord of the Dance and notes performing with Michael Flatley at Madison Square Garden as a career highlight.
