Stack & Still confirm all pancake proceeds to be donated to Cash For Kids today

Stack & Still, the UK's largest urban pancake destinations will be partnering with Radio Clyde Cash for Kids Charity this Pancake Day, Tuesday 25 February!

Stack & Still will be donating all revenue from pancake sales to the charity on the day. The pancake pioneers are aiming high with a £20,000 target for the day across their three venues - West George Street, Silverburn and Glasgow Fort.

Radio Clyde Cash for Kids has one key mission – to support the most vulnerable children in Glasgow and the West who are affected by child poverty.The current statistic for Glasgow and the West is 1 in 3 children are living in poverty, with this rising to 1 in 2 in some areas of Glasgow and Paisley. Without the support of Cash for Kids, many local children would be unlikely to receive hot or nutritious meals during the school holiday period.

The partnership with Stack & Still will allow the charity to deliver vital grants to groups and projects who provide much needed food and activities for children during the Easter School holidays. The money raised by Stack & Still will go straight to local children in the West of Scotland.

Paul Reynolds co-owner of Stack & Still said: “We are thrilled to be working with Radio Clyde Cash for Kids for the second year running. Pancake Day is one of our busiest trading days of the year and we really want to raise as much money as we can for the charity. We have set ourselves a steep target of 20k across our three venues so we hope to serve as many people as possible and raise some serious cash.”

Grace Reilly, Charity Manager for Radio Clyde Cash for Kids said: “We are delighted that Stack & Still have chosen us as their charity partner again and the money raised from their Pancake Tuesday event will go directly towards supporting local children during the Easter school holidays. ‘Holiday hunger’ is a real issue across Glasgow and the West and the funds raised make a real difference to those living in poverty.”
