Find your future at the City of Glasgow College Virtual Clearing Day

Clearing Day is the ideal opportunity for school leavers, for those yet to apply for a college course, for people looking to upskill, and for anyone unsure of their options, to chat to specialists and get the information they need to decide what’s right for their future.
The event is being held online and offers individuals the chance to have questions answered, and to get information and advice from lecturers, student support and admissions staff.
Brian Deeley, Student Recruitment and Funding Manager at City of Glasgow College, said: “Our first virtual Clearing Day last year saw an increase in visitor numbers which was really encouraging. We’re looking forward to hosting it online again as it will help us reach a wider audience, and allow people to access us from wherever suits them.
“The virtual event offers an experience very similar to being on campus. Subject specialists will be on hand to offer advice and guidance. There are videos of the college, presentations, and you can join in live chats with students past and present.
“Whether you are a school leaver, or an adult returner looking to upskill or retrain, we recommend you sign up now to attend.”
Visitors entering the online site will be welcomed by college staff and directed to a range of different booths where they can:
• Watch a video of what it’s like to study at the college
• Visit any of the subject booths to talk to course lecturers
• Have an informal chat with past and present students
• Visit Student Services for any unanswered questions
• Ask the Helpdesk if you are unsure about who to talk to
• Request guidance on the application process.
