Dundee-based brand, Isolated Heroes has grown to become one of the most visually striking contemporary brands in the UK. They specialise in hand-embellished and embroidered items and are renowned for their innovative use of luxury faux fur and sequins.
Launched in 2012 by CEO Samantha Paton, off the back of her acclaimed graduate collection, Isolated Heroes has grown to become one of the most visually striking contemporary brands in the UK. The brand has developed a cult-like following, being worn by the likes of Miley Cyrus, Foxes, Pixie Lott, Molly King and the Confetti Crowd, as well as collaborating with Paloma Faith, The X-Factor and Marina and the Diamonds. Themes in the collections include empowerment and transformation and are ever-present in its trademark unisex style, not only blurring the lines of gender but celebrating body positivity, with collections stocked from size 6 to size 28.
The team will be bringing a selection of sustainable glam partywear to Glasgow including accessories, new embroidered collars, mini dresses, sequin motif sweaters. All handmade by Isolated Heroes.
The brand is sold across the world in a number of retailers including Dolls Kill (USA), NYLON (USA), GoodbyeBread (USA / Berlin), MAXIM RIMINI (EU), Shop OONAS (USA) and Eros Mortis (EU). Princes Square Collective will be their first Glasgow stockist. The brand has a zero-waste approach, meaning that all pieces are handmade in small batches or on a made-to-order basis, and any scrap pieces of fabric are made into face coverings and other accessories.
Isolated Heroes Founder and CEO, Samantha Paton commented: “We are delighted to be bringing Isolated Heroes to Princes Square providing a fresh new shopping experience for our Glasgow customers. We are so thankful to Princes Square for providing small independent businesses like ours an opportunity to be stocked in such a luxurious retail destination. Isolated Heroes are passionate about providing new and exciting retail opportunities and we can't wait to bring sustainable glamour to Glasgow! Our new range will launch at a VIP private view on Friday 15th of October with a packed-out guest list, cocktails sponsored by The Gin Bothy, VIP goodie bags packed with #zerowaste sequin accessories, and a DJ set from Pearl Necklace. The Isolated Heroes studio team will be on hand all weekend to offer in store styling sessions and made to order fittings so you can design a custom wardrobe ahead of the Christmas party season.”
Commenting on their takeover, Princes Square Collective’s curator, Katie Moody said: “It’s such a coup for us to have Isolated Heroes taking over the Princes Square Collective. We love the ethos behind the brand, their body positivity and their sustainability credentials are second to none. We can’t wait to have them in next weekend!”
