Selling out over 100,000 tickets every year, this year is expected to be no different as organisers, itison, revealed that the fifth GlasGLOW, The Land That Time Forgot, will be landing in the Botanic Gardens from 26th October – 7th November.
Venturing into The Land That Time Forgot, ticketholders are in for an exhilarating 60-minute journey where they’ll come across dinosaurs, dig sites, volcanoes, poachers, giant spiders and much more as jeopardy waits around every corner.
Fans of the highly anticipated show are encouraged to set their alarms for tomorrow morning at 7.30am to make sure they get their hands on earlybird tickets set to go on sale tomorrow exclusively at www.glasglow.com.
A range of tickets are available depending on what time your adventurer you are:
• Earlybird child: £9 (standard price £12)
• Earlybird adult: £20 (standard price £22)
• Fast Pass & Mallow child: £16 (standard price £20)
• Fast Pass & Mallow adult £28 (standard £30)
Fast Pass & Mallow tickets are a great way to enjoy GlasGLOW, and include a dedicated entrance to avoid any queues plus a campfire classic marshmallow skewer and queues skips straight into the show’s legendary Marshmallowland.
GLOW passes will also be available for ticketholders with additional and/or sensory needs, as well as an onsite Quiet Room, and sensory guide available from mid-September which gives guidance on the sights, sounds, smells and space to expect in each area.
Creator of GlasGLOW and itison CEO, Oli Norman, said: “It takes a team of 150 to bring GlasGLOW to life and create a world class show that we’re really proud to put on in our home city. This year’s route is jam packed with adventure that everyone can enjoy, with plenty of photo opportunities, as well as some of the city’s best food and drink vendors keeping everyone energised enough to take on the various creatures dotted around the Gardens.
“This year is probably our most exciting yet, all stemming from my own family adventure in Skye - we can’t wait for October to roll round to lighten up the dark skies and make them GLOW once again.”
The itison Pumpkin Fund will also return having raised £30,000 for local charities in 2021, spreading pumpkin joy around the city and donating over 2,000 tickets to local community organisations, hospitals and charities.
Now coming into its fifth year, GlasGLOW is the biggest Halloween event in the UK creating 150 event sector jobs and contributing an estimated £6M into the local economy.
Earlybird pricing tickets go on sale exclusively at www.glasglow.com tomorrow, Wednesday 24th August, at 7.30am.
