Step into Christmas with XSite Braehead
XSite Braehead, Scotland's leading entertainment destination, will come alive this weekend with the sound of Christmas to help bring some festive joy to visitors.

Guests visiting the centre will be able to enjoy performances of Christmas classics and well-known hits from musicians including Jamie Keenan from the legendary Scottish rock band, The LaFontaines and members of the Scottish busking scene, Maria McAveety and Zennor Whittaker Bacon.
Set against the twinkle of Christmas decorations within XSite, the musicians will perform from 1-8pm on Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th December, to help set the tone for Christmas and spread some festive cheer in the lead up to the big day.
Helping create the perfect winter wonderland experience, XSite is also bringing the ultimate festive photo opportunity to Glasgow, with the arrival of a giant snow globe. Free to access for visitors on Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th, the 16-foot Christmas snow globe – located on the ground floor of XSite (next to TGI Friday’s and Frankie and Benny’s) – will offer visitors the chance to create the perfect photo opportunity just in time for Christmas.
Complete with fluttering snow, the winter walk through will give visitors the chance to capture picture perfect photos while making magical memories. Customers will also be in with the chance to win a voucher for a free meal at TGI Friday's and gifted experiences such as Gravity and Paradise Island all up for grabs.
Rosalind Gibson, Marketing Manager at XSite Braehead, said: “We wanted to create the ultimate Christmas experience for visitors to enjoy without having to brave the elements.
“There is a great atmosphere in the centre at this time of year so being able to wander around whilst listening to live music will add to that – particularly with such fantastic Scottish singers lined up to perform.
“And as an added extra, we’ve also created the perfect photo opportunity for guests to enjoy and get some festive pictures of their friends and family (and even take a few sneaky selfies) – so make sure to tag us in your posts.”
The singer’s performance times will be displayed in the centre daily. Advance bookings are not required for the snow globe or to watch the musicians perform.
