From 12pm – 10pm, Legendary Burgers will be available for a bargain price as customers can buy one and get another for 10p, as the restaurant marks 10 years of serving up world-famous burgers in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. Bookings can be made here.
Back in November 2013, the global brand transformed the former Athenaeum Theatre on Buchanan Street into the 139th Hard Rock Cafe in the world. The response was phenomenal, with Glasgow living up to its reputation as a city for music lovers, regularly attending gigs hosted by the Cafe including performances from Nathan Evans and Rianne Downey, and weekly acoustic nights. In 2019, the city was one of six chosen to host the brand’s Battle of the Bands competition.
The iconic venue also houses some of rock history’s most iconic objects from the likes of The Rolling Stones, John Lennon and AC/DC, as well as local legends Amy MacDonald and Primal Scream. Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow is the only restaurant where music fans can enjoy tasty food and killer cocktails whilst sitting amongst star-studded memorabilia from Scotland and beyond.
After 10 years, and almost 300,000 burgers sold, nobody knows burgers better than Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow. Legendary Burgers include a juicy beef patty, smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, a golden fried onion ring, lettuce and tomato. The deal is also valid on Moving Mountains Burgers for vegetarians. If you and a friend are after a mouthwatering mid-week feast that won’t break the bank, book in and join the birthday celebrations.
Gordy Aitken, General Manager at Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow, said: “I can’t quite believe that we’re celebrating a decade of Hard Rock Cafe on Buchanan Street – it’s been a fast 10 years! The restaurant has had so many great highlights during that time. For me, that was Glasgow being chosen among selected Cafes around the world to celebrate the global launch of the Lionel Messi collaboration with our epic Messi Burger event last year.
“I’d like to say a huge thank you to our valued Glasgow staff and customers, and I’m looking forward to many more Hard Rock memories to come.”
