Glasgow gourmands, the wait is over! After shaking up the street food scene in the Scottish capital, Ozen is now bringing its Eastern fusion flavours westside and launching in Glasgow!

Established in 2021, the Asian street food kings have built a cult following in Edinburgh, with press and influencers buzzing about their bao buns. And now Glasgow foodies can get a taste of the action when Ozen launches in the city on Thursday 4th April.
Expect all their classic combos and signature dishes, such as the Karaageee Chicken bao bun stuffed with tender crispy fried chicken, and the Pig Deal crammed with red pork belly in a peanut crumb. These are joined on the menu by some seriously succulent vegan options such as the Eggplant featuring panko-fried aubergine. And not forgetting the quirky McOzen mash-up featuring a double beef patty, American cheese, pickles and special McOzen sauce.
What’s more, Ozen is proud to reveal a bunch of brand-new bao buns including Katsu chicken, buffalo chicken, BBQ pork and even an all-day breakfast concoction. Those with a sweet tooth will be hard pressed to say no to a dessert bun bursting with crumbled Biscoff, Nutella or strawberry syrup.
The brains behind the bao buns are the self-confessed food-obsessed Chris Thomas, Alex Galpin and Jacob Rodriguez, who have more than two decades of hospitality experience between them. Their ultimate aim is to add a new dynamic to Glasgow’s food scene and offer a contemporary take on pan-Asian flavours.
Speaking about the Glasgow launch, Chris said: “Glasgow has some fantastic food offerings but we’re here to take things to the next level. We see ourselves as street food disruptors – shaking and spicing up the dining scene with our unexpected combos, fresh flavours and seriously good sauces.
We’ve travelled the world for inspiration and we’re not afraid to experiment. That’s how we’ve grown such a loyal following of foodies in Edinburgh and we’re confident our moreish menu will win over Glasgow palates too.”
