Longlist for the Scottish Live Music Awards Revealed!
The recently launched Scottish Live Music Awards (SLMA) has unveiled its longlist for 2024!

Following an overwhelming public response, with over 12,500 nominations across 14 categories, the awards have gained support from across Scotland’s live music industry.
Organisers have whittled down the nominations to create longlists in a range of categories, including:
• Best Live Act
• Best Venue
• Best New Act
• Best Young Act
• Best Festival
Voting is now open on the SLMA website, where the public can support their favourite artists, venues, and events. Voting will remain open until midnight on 24th October, after which those with the most votes will make it through to the shortlist. This shortlist, along with details of the end-of-year awards ceremony, will be revealed in early November, before a panel of industry-expert judges settle on the final winners.
The Scottish Live Music Awards aim to spotlight the best of Scotland's live music across the country, giving fans an opportunity to celebrate the artists, venues and festivals that make Scotland’s music scene one of the most exciting in the world.
