Platform has unveiled their festive programme for the ultimate alternative night out this Christmas
From new delicious seasonal dishes and boozy hot chocolates to local live music and family-friendly events, Platform's has something for everyone this festive season.

Now available, Platform’s seasonal menu features a creative take on Christmas classics, guaranteed to get you full of festive cheer.
On the menu you’ll find Yorkshire pudding tacos with rare roast beef, mini roast spuds, veg & proper gravy, Christmas sliders with all the trimmings and must try Sticky Pigs in Blankets with bacon, honey & cranberry glaze.
And a selection of cracking Christmas drinks like mulled wine, boozy hot chocolates and a Butterscotch Latte Martini with 42 Below Vodka, toffee nut syrup, Panther Milk and Espresso.
Platform is open Thursday to Saturday in December, with walk-ins welcome for table bookings. Enjoy live acoustic performances from talented local buskers like Niamh Corkey @niamh_corkey, Michael Cassidy @michaelcassidymusic, Michael McGovern @michaelmcgovernn, Hana Jane @hanajanemusic playing between 4pm-6pm, followed by weekend DJs from 6:30pm until close.
Bring the whole family along on Saturday, December 21st from 1pm to 3pm for Platform’s Be-Bop-Bairns Annual Christmas Party. Perfect for kids of all ages, the event is packed with festive fun including a soft play, face painting, foam snowball fight, kids disco and party games. Elsa from Frozen will also be there performing songs from both Frozen films! Little ones under walking age can attend for free.
Didn’t get a Deacon Blues ticket? On December 27th, experience a sensational night of live music with Simple Minded and Deacon Blues, Scotland’s top tribute acts to Simple Minds and Deacon Blue. From timeless 80s hits this is a nostalgic trip you don’t want to miss.
