First held in 1907, the Scottish Open is the third oldest badminton tournament in the world and since its inception it has grown over the years, welcoming a better quality of players and becoming a better spectating experience.
Numerous World, Olympic, Commonwealth and European champions have competed in Glasgow over the last few years and you can see previous winners of the event here
The event will be held at the Emirates and you can also watch the event highlights from previous years on our YouTube channel
Tickets are on sale now and although the detailed playing schedule will not be available until closer to the event, below is a provisional schedule of play:
Thursday 21 November: Qualifying rounds 09.00hrs-17.30
First round of men's singles & mixed doubles 17.30hrs onwards.
Friday 22 November 09.00hrs-22.00hrs: First and second rounds of women's singles, men's doubles and women's doubles; second round of men's singles and mixed doubles.
Saturday 23 November 10.00hrs-22.00hrs: Quarter- and semi-finals of all events
Sunday 24 November 12.00hrs-18.00hrs: Finals and medal ceremonies of all events
