Chris's House would like to invite you, your family, your friends and your work colleagues to join us at our annual Chris's House Walk of Hope, taking place during the early hours of the 10th May 2025.
The significance of the Walk of Hope is to remind us that the darkness is temporary and the light will follow we begin the walk when its dark at approximately 4.15am and the sun rises as we complete the 5km route. This is the specified day of the year that many choose to walk in hope all around the world to raise awareness of suicide prevention. We also remember those loved ones lost to suicide. There is a memory tent where you can place a picture of a loved one lost to suicide.
The fundraiser raises much needed funds for Chris's House 9 Centre for Help Response and Intervention Surrounding Suicide) the first 24hr non- medical crisis centre in Scotland.
Tickets can be purchased at least 3 days in advance to ensure you get at shirt for the walk.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
