We are lighting up February with colour and community! This annual event will create a magical window self led trail around Govan on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th February 2022.
There will also be family activities and hot drinks stop off points along the self led trail on the Friday evening. All are welcome.
Govan residents, local businesses, local community groups, organisations and schools and nurseries are invited to make a fun/simple window display themed on ‘We Love Govan’.
You do not need to be an artist to take part! Simple designs on black paper and brightly coloured tissue can be attached to windows. The paper takes on a magical feel when it is dark outside and inside lights are on. 3d displays can also be lit with fairy lights or lamps.
To sign up to create a window:
Visit www.windowwanderland.com and click ‘Take Part in the event’. You will be guided to a sign up page to register the location of your window and add a pin onto the map.
To join the trail:
follow the facebook event for ongoing information and the downloadable map nearer the date.
There will also be stewards out on the Friday evening at Govan Cross and Make Do and Grow in Burleigh Street with printed maps for visitors to follow.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
