The Merchant City Trad Trail, which lasts approximately two hours, traces the story of Glasgow’s folk and roots music scenes from their early beginnings right up to this year’s Celtic Connections.
Walk through some of Glasgow’s oldest streets with expert guides as they share tales of the songwriters and storytellers who have shaped the city’s vibrant folk culture. Several indoor stops are included in the tour, offering the opportunity to warm your hands with a coffee or something a little stronger.
Lasting approximately two hours, the tour starts from the Scottish Music Centre at The City Halls, Candleriggs, G1 1NQ.
Please note that one venue on the tour is not wheelchair accessible.
