The Pollokshields Trust and Govanhill Baths Community Trust, together with several local organisations and individuals, have been working together to deliver the Kenmure Street Festival of Resistance.
On this day, the street will be closed to traffic to celebrate the legacy of the solidarity shown on May 13th 2021; when the community of Pollokshields and beyond, came together to respond to the cruel treatment of refugees and asylum seekers and stood in defiance against the Home Office.
Join us and come along to connect with campaigning organisations, anti racist groups and activists - and enjoy some good food, live music and dance too!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
