By Simon Community, Scotland, Lauren Bianchi (Storyteller), Inma de Reyes (Film-maker).
These women are not us. But they are. They are all of us. They are all at different stages of their journey. They have all been let down, they've all been failed, they've all been through the system. They've all been homeless. They've all slept rough. They've all done what they needed to, to survive. They are all starting to think about rebuilding their lives.
(Because) We're worth it too is an original performance film which shines a light into women's experiences of homelessness in Scotland, an experience much overlooked. This performance film provides a platform for the voices of those women.
It was created by the Village Storytelling Centre in partnership with the Simon Community and the women they support.
