Glasgow Zine Fest: Sound Repurposed: A Workshop in Sampling
Led by local DJs & producers Wheelman and Boosterhooch, this workshop aims to introduce the participants to sampling as it's used in electronic music production.
About Glasgow Zine Fest: Sound Repurposed: A Workshop in Sampling
The first half of the workshop will cover the history and future of sampling, as well as how Wheelman and Boosterhooch use the technique in their own productions using Ableton. The second half will involve creating a piece as a group comprised entirely of samples recorded in the workshop.
