Having not performed in Scotland since 2017, the band bring their unique fusion sound to Glasgow for a special one-off performance. Expect an up-tempo, fierce and lively show. The line-up includes Scott Wood (Bagpipes/Whistles), Mhairi Mackinnon (Fiddle), Ron Jappy (Acoustic Guitar), Euan Malloch (Electric Guitar), Angus Tikka (Bass), Mark Scobbie (Drums).
Findochty born fiddle, guitar and piano player Ron Jappy showcases his debut album, Vincular. Described by Spiral Earth as “One of those albums you’re going to be playing often”, Vincular is the culmination of Ron’s musical journey so far. Ron’s passion is using his role as an accompanist to enhance a work and shape its musical identity; taking it to the next stage of its life as it were. For this show he has brought together a collection of musicians he has worked with in the past to shape his artistic vision. These include; Scott Wood, Mhairi Mackinnon, Ainsley Hamill, Mark Scobbie, Mhairi Marwick, Joe Rattery, Euan Malloch and Grant McFarlane.
