Join Diabetes UK this summer for an exciting walking challenge taking place in Glasgow only for the second time.
Wellness Walk Glasgow 2024 is on Sunday, 2 June and is a perfect opportunity to support your wellness while enjoying a scenic walk and raising money for Diabetes UK along the way.
The 8-mile walk starts and finishes at the Kelvingrove Park, with groups of walkers setting off in waves between 9.30am and 11.00am.
The route takes walkers through some of Glasgow’s most iconic landmarks including the People's Palace, the Necropolis, Merchant City, the Duke of Wellington statue and the River Clyde. The walk is designed to be done at your own pace and for all levels of fitness. Step-free, it's an ideal event for people with pushchairs or using wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
Celebrate your achievement at the end of your Wellness Walk with your special finishers medal in the finisher's Area. You can grab a massage, speak to a Diabetes Specialist Nurse or write on the gratitude board.
There is a £10 registration fee for adults, £5 for 12 to 17-year-olds and free for 11-year-olds and under. There is no minimum sponsorship although Diabetes UK would love you to aim to raise £150.
Get 20% off for a limited time only by using the code GWW24EB during registration.
Book your place today and together, let’s walk towards a healthier, happier future.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
