Made up of husband and wife duo Ray Hughes and Sian Chandler, the pair took their first steps as a musical twosome in 2012 — and they haven’t looked back since. Having already built up a loyal following in the UK, supporting the likes of Ray Davies and Eddi Reader, they’ve spread their wings to the US with sold-out shows and festival appearances.
With a palpable on-stage chemistry and joyous, sunny dispositions, The Black Feathers draw you in by loving what they play and playing what they love. Chandler’s soaring, melodious voice offers the perfect counterpoint to Hughes’ rich vocals and riveting guitar riffs. No wonder Whispering Bob Harris called them "absolutely wonderful".
