A terrible water shortage, caused by a 20 year drought has led to a government enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, controlled by a company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity’s most basic needs. A hero emerges and decides he’s had enough and plans a revolution to lead the poor to freedom!
This is a hilarious satire of capitalism, environmental collapse, bureaucracy and even musical theatre itself!
This production is presented by the Musical Theatre course at The Dance School of Scotland in conjunction with the Citizens Theatre.
