Book Launch: The World’s End Murders: The Inside Story by Tom Wood

About Book Launch: The World’s End Murders: The Inside Story by Tom Wood

In this book, Wood delivers an in-depth and personal account of the nearly four-decade pursuit of justice for the tragic murders of Edinburgh teenagers Helen Scott and Christine Eadie that began in October 1977. As one of Scotland’s most senior and experienced police officers and an original investigator on the case, Wood is the perfect narrator to explore and give tribute to the loss of the lives of these two girls, honouring the resilience of their families and the dedication of the investigators. 'The World’s End Murders: The Inside Story' traces the steps of the officers and forensic scientists, whose work to preserve the evidence left behind at the scene of the crime finally saw the perpetrator convicted of his evil deeds in 2014. This is the inside story of the World’s End Murders.

Hear Tom speak of his experiences and insider knowledge of the case at the launch on Sunday, 23rd of June at 2pm at Hillhead Library in Glasgow. This event is free and all are welcome. Make sure to RSVP on the Ringwood Publishing Facebook page to let us know you're coming!

You can pre-order your copy of 'The World’s End Murders: The Inside Story' for £9.99 (plus P&P) through the Ringwood Publishing website to guarantee a signed first edition copy which will be sent to you before the launch.

Furthermore, if you haven't grabbed your copy of Tom Wood's first true crime novel, 'Ruxton: The First Modern Murder', which was shortlisted for the Saltire Society's Non-Fiction Book of the Year in 2021, you can order it alongside 'The World’s End Murders: The Inside Story' for a discounted price of £16 on the Ringwood website.
