Over 15,000 people attended the first event of its kind in the area, with hardened comic fans and costumed cosplayers mingling with families and young children.
Loch Lomond Shores manager, Audrey Reid said; “We knew the event was going to be popular because of the reaction we received from fans in the run up to the weekend. What we didn’t anticipate was just how popular it was going to be.”
“It was the first one, and there were things to learn from it – but the feedback we’ve had has been overwhelmingly positive and enthusiastic. The next one will be even bigger and better!”
Loch Lomond Comic Con organisers can confirm that the event will return in the spring of next year.
