Buchanan Galleries has announced their first new store openings of 2020. The iconic accessories brand Radley will relocate to the centre, and Korean-inspired gifting brand, Ilahui will launch their first UK store. Both retailers are due to open at the end of March.
Having had a long presence in Glasgow, Radley is making a welcomed move to a prime ground floor location in Buchanan Galleries.
Founded in 1998, Radley has unwaveringly maintained their British ethos that has helped them secure their place as a UK High Street staple. Their luxurious bags and accessories, exhibiting immaculate craftmanship, are equally as recognisable as their Scottie dog logo, which features a distinctive outline and a bright red collar that reflects the playful personality of the brand.
As well as their signature women’s collection, the 1,200 sq ft Glasgow store will offer footwear alongside men’s bags and accessories.
Kevin Morris, Head of Retail at Radley expands; “We are thrilled to be opening a new store within the beautiful Buchanan Galleries. Glasgow has fast become one of the top retail destinations in the UK and we’re delighted to be stamping the Radley paw print on this dynamic city with a crisp new store design.
“The location of the centre was an obvious draw for the brand, and the store aligns with a new approach to our retail ambitions that will see Radley continue to have a strong presence on the British High Street, delivering the very best experience for customers both in terms of location, product curation and size. Small but perfectly formed some would say.”
Buchanan Galleries is also set to welcome Ilahui, to the centre. Shoppers can expect the new Ilahui Glasgow store to stock unique, Korean-inspired gifts, apparel, accessories and homeware, that they won’t find anywhere else.
Rob Hardie, Portfolio Director at Landsec, who owns Buchanan Galleries, said; “We are delighted to welcome Radley and Illahui to Buchanan Galleries this spring. Both brands will take up prime locations on the ground floor, near John Lewis, and will add a new dimension to our already strong retail line up”.
