Il Pavone has announced their reopening date of this Wednesday with a range of social distancing measures in place at the restaurant as part of their reopening safety plan. They’re patiently waiting until the day they can open their doors, and start serving their customers again.
Guests to the popular family restaurant can expect COVID-secure measures in place including booth dividers and elegant screens - a mixture of timber and laminated glass that are easy to clean and ensure social distancing. Hand sanitisers will also be provided on tables with extra times in between bookings to allow for essential cleaning.
Il Pavone has been also able to reimagine their dining room that allows an 85% capacity instead of 50%, thanks to freestanding safety screens and seating dividers that match the decor of their space, much to the delight of their guests.
Mariangela, who set up Il Pavone almost thirty years ago with Guerino Marini and Marco Di Meo is excited to reopen, she says: “The versatility of the safety screens has allowed us to have a reopening plan in place with the safety of our customers in front of mind. Maximising our capacity is essential to keeping our business viable. We were worried about the 2m rule impacting the flow of our dining room and reducing our capacity by half. With our new social distancing measures in place, we can maintain the excellent service and vibrancy our guests know and love us for while still operating at an 85% capacity.
“It’s been devastating not being able to open our doors these past few months, and we’re excited to swing them open safely and welcome our guests back to Il Pavone. Our bookings are now live, and if you’d like to join us, you can book by table by visiting www.ilpavoneglasgow.com.”
Paul Martin, owner of Paul M Designs and TheSafteyScreens.co.uk has pledged to help the industry get back on its feet with his affordable and stylish social distancing solutions for those who need it.
His bespoke safety screens and dividers are affordable and fully customisable to ensure a stylish solution for social distancing in venues to maintain government guidelines. With a range of materials and finishes available, their stylish designs allow companies to avoid clinical looking dining rooms by creating socially distant spaces that are fully customisable, easy-to-clean and best complement the design aesthetic of any room.
Paul who has also worked Il Pavone sister restaurants, Nonna Gina's and Primavera in Newton Mearns explains: “We understand that it’s a challenging time for those in hospitality and leisure and we all need a safe solution to get customers back out spending. That’s why we decided to offer screens from £90 to help our clients and friends creating spaces that are welcoming and adhere to government regulations.
“It’s a long road ahead and we’ve got to work together as an industry to help each other move out of lockdown as safely and comfortably as possible.
“Whether you want to buy off the shelf or need some consultancy or guidance, our team is on hand to help with every part of this process. All our products are manufactured in Scotland using local suppliers with safety guaranteed.”
