Glasgow’s coolest bar and restaurant, Abandon Ship is marking the end of COP26 and a return to normality in the city centre with a Berlin-inspired Pool Party Brunch this Sunday, November 14th.
The venue is bringing out all the stops with the launch of their new monthly party series that will also feature mouthwatering new menus, alongside live magic by Scotland’s top magician, Billy Reid, complimentary tarot card readings, free pop up nail art in the toilets, and a caricaturist to capture your best side.
Their brunch menus are packed will delicious small plates such as poached eggs loaded with beef chilli, toasted bread, and hollandaise, along with their signature pretzel bun burgers and juicy house wings, and drinks to get you in the mood like the refreshing Pool Party made with JJ Whitley blue raspberry vodka, Academia prosecco, orange blossom and lemon.
There’s a full on playground for adults that includes live entertainment from top DJ talents like Optimistic Soul, and a prosecco bar, Arcade Games, and their infamous neon-lit Pickle Shack. The party starts at noon and will roll on throughout the entire day with pop-up entertainment. Tickets to the event guarantee you access all day and include two cocktails from their exclusive party menu, any dish from our main menu or brunch menu along with any side and access to all entertainment.
Speaking of the event, John Lynch, business development manager at Abandon Ship said: “It’s incredible that COP26 has taken place in Glasgow, but if you live or work here it’s been a bit frustrating getting in and out of town. So we’ve decided to celebrate and invite everyone back in for a party, what else?!
“It’s our first ever brunch, so we’re going hard with the best of Scotland’s talent on the bill.
“£25pp includes two cocktails from our exclusive party menu, any dish from our main menu or brunch menu along with any side and access to all free entertainment.
“At 3pm we open up the vibe to everyone with DJ sets all day and all the fun! We hope to see you all there and if you can’t make this party don’t worry - we are going hard monthly! The party never ends.”
