Bruichladdich teams up with Ubiquitous Chip for rooftop takeover
Bruichladdich Distillery is partnering with the Ubiquitous Chip to host an epic end of summer bash!

Taking place on Sunday 27th August, the rooftop will be awash with aqua, with DJ sets, cocktails and drams for guests to enjoy.
Featuring live music from Clyde Built Radio, the rooftop takeover will take place from 1pm-6pm, before moving inside until late.
Customers will be able to enjoy a range of serves from the Ubiquitous Chip’s new and bespoke Bruichladdich Distillery cocktail menu. For coffee lovers, the ‘Coffee Laddie’ pairs Bruichladdich’s signature Classic Laddie with coffee infused Metaxa 5 Star, sweet Vermouth, white chocolate, and a Guinness top, while ‘Timorous Berry’ suits a sweeter palate, with Classic Laddie, Yellow Chartreuse, Timur Berry Cordial and ginger ale.
There are also two gin cocktails on the menu featuring The Botanist – the first Islay dry gin. Paying homage to the 22 hand-foraged, local botanicals which make up The Botanist, ‘Twenty Two’ pairs the gin with Italicus, Lillet Blanc and orange bitters. ‘Figgly Puff’ showcases the delicate notes of The Botanist with fig liqueur, Pedro Ximenez Sherry, pear, lemon, a hint of cinnamon and egg white.
The first 40 guests will enjoy a complimentary ‘Heavily Peached’ cocktail on arrival. Light and refreshing, the long serve showcases the distillery’s heavily peated Port Charlotte 10 Year Old, beautifully balanced with lychee, ripe peach and jasmine tea and topped with ice and soda.
The Bruichladdich rooftop takeover takes place at the Ubiquitous Chip on Sunday 27th August 2023, from 1pm-6pm. Customers can visit the Bruichladdich terrace until November 2023.
