The Glasgow Comedy Club launch brand new weekly show

The Glasgow Comedy Club, from the team behind Max's Bar and Room 2, have announced a brand new regular Saturday Night comedy show in Max's Basement launching this Saturday!

The new show - Saturday Night Live - comes on the back of the continued success of their Best of the Fest show that highlights the best local talent on show at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival which took part for the second year in a row to sold out audiences every week.

Each week a show is curated by resident MC Graham Mackie, who shares comparing duties with Scott Agnew. Tickets are available from seatsurge.com, and priced just £15 for the opening show on Saturday 6 April with star of the Some Laugh podcast Stephen Buchanan set to headline. Doors open 7pm for a 7:30pm show.

Commenting, Graham Mackie said: “We are delighted to be bringing a regular, Saturday night event to Max's Basement every week following on from the success of Best of the Fest at the Comedy Festival. It's very clear that audiences love the unique, intimate space of Max's Basement that gets them up close and personal with some of the best acts and we're looking forward to making them laugh!”
