Exclusive to Tesco, Wingman Touchdown Lager is a 4.8% lager from BrewDog’s fresh new Wingman range, and it’ll be Hail Mary-ing its way into Tesco stores and BrewDog bars from Jan 2nd 2025. With its floral, citrussy taste, think of it as a cousin of BrewDog’s OG Wingman IPA - but redder, whiter and bluer, with loads of enthusiasm and an American twang.
As a further chest-bump to the US’s number one league sport played with a funny-shaped ball, BrewDog will also be welcoming both committed and casual football fans on the 9th February… with big game watch parties at selected locations. These watch parties bring together the game, the snacks, the refreshments AND the half-time show all in one play.
Each participating bar will offer an awesome food and drinks menu, complete with a new Hoppy Meal deal - a new gameday pre-booked package including a meal and a pint of Wingman Touchdown Lager - as well as give the opportunity for those in-bar to win some great prizes, including epic custom BrewDog football shirts. There’ll also be interactive experiences and live entertainment happening alongside the game.
Watch parties will be taking place at the following BrewDog bars in Scotland:
Castlegate - Aberdeen / Edinburgh Lothian Road / Doghouse Merchant City
Lauren Carrol, Chief Marketing Officer at BrewDog says: “We’re pumped about this one, and have been looking forward to bringing this to life ever since we first had the idea to create the perfect light and fresh lager for game day. And it’s not just Touchdown Lager we’re excited about - we’re going big on the watch parties. We hope they’ll be like raucous tailgate parties: all the great food and drink, all the fandom passion and vibes, and even some live cheerleaders down at BrewDog Waterloo! So if you are looking for somewhere to get your American football fix, this is it.”
