Ahead of her highly anticipated show, presented by Regular Music on Friday 18th April, Horse will perform two remarkable tracks – Superpower from the new album, The Road Less Travelled, and the timeless classic Careful - in a breathtaking setting high above the city at Midday on Monday 7th April.
This exclusive rooftop performance promises to be a momentous occasion, showcasing Horse’s extraordinary vocal talent in a truly unique setting. With Glasgow’s skyline as a stunning backdrop, the intimate yet powerful performance will offer fans an emotional and uplifting experience.
Speaking about the event, Horse said: “Performing on the roof of the Pavilion Theatre feels symbolic – a moment of elevation, both physically and creatively. ‘Superpower’ is a song about resilience, strength, and self-belief, and I can’t think of a better place to sing it than high above the city that has always supported me.
“I’m so excited to get the opportunity to do what most people never get to do, not only stand on the roof but to sing on the roof of The Pavilion. If I was to tell my teenage self I'd be doing this (the one that got off the train at Central Station under the Irn Bru sign and walked up Renfield Street to the Apollo), she would not have believed it. The Pavilion sits across from where the Apollo stood. I'm delighted that a few weeks after this, I then get to perform inside The Pavilion, on the stage of this iconic theatre with my band and strings.”
The Road Less Travelled, released on Saturday 25th May 2024, marked a triumphant return for Horse, featuring her signature heartfelt lyrics and soulful delivery. The album has been hailed as a deeply personal and powerful reflection of her journey through life and music.
