After a two year pause Dragon Boat race day for Cerebral Palsy Scotland is back for 2022 and is sure to be a day you and your crew won’t forget.
Dragon Boat racing is a competition with loads of fun – no experience is needed to take part. The event takes place completely outdoors and is ideal for companies or a groups of friends. This is a big day out at beautiful Loch Lomond. Friends and family of crew members can come along to support their teams.
One Dragon Boat can take up to 16 paddlers plus a drummer with a minimum of 12 paddlers plus a drummer per boat. If you don’t have 12 willing pals then you can share a boat with another team and take our half boat option for 6-8 people plus one drummer.
Paddlers make the boat go.
Drummers keep the rowers in sync.
Sponsorship:
After registering, you will be sent details to pay a deposit of:
£100 deposit per Dragon Boat
£50 deposit per half Dragon Boat
The minimum team sponsorship we are asking you to raise is:
£1500 minimum team sponsorship per Dragon Boat
£750 minimum team sponsorship per half Dragon Boat
Every day in Scotland, people with cerebral palsy are not getting enough support. We need you to power our work, so that every person with cerebral palsy can reach their full potential.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
