There was a great turnout in the sunshine and showers at this year's Alexandra Park Festival Day at the weekend!

Organised by Platform arts centre in Easterhouse, in Glasgow’s east end, well over three thousand festival goers came along in droves to enjoy everything from stalls and free sports activities, free face painting, free balloon modelling, live music and free art workshops, to rides, inflatables and live wrestling from Iron Girders Gym.

Platform is back next Saturday 26 July, 12noon - 4pm, to do it all over again with The Bridge Family Festival, The Bridge, Easterhouse – where there will also be a free roller disco as well as the usual line-up of family friendly activities!
