COSMO St Enoch is rolling out the red carpet for Glasgow’s grannies (and grandads) this autumn with a new family dining offer that celebrates the most important seat at the table. From October, when your family comes to dine, one grandparent eats completely free.
The offer is a nod to the much-loved Scottish playground song “Ye Cannae Shove Yer Granny Aff a Bus” with COSMO making sure granny or grandpa is treated to a hearty meal on the house.
Known for bringing together global flavours under one roof, COSMO St Enoch offers everything from freshly rolled sushi and teppanyaki to comforting roast dinners and indulgent desserts, making it the perfect spot for fussy families who can never quite agree on what to eat.
Manager of COSMO St Enoch, Jonathan Chu, said: “In Glasgow, family is everything - and so is food. We wanted to create an offer that gives a wee thank you to the grans and grandpas who are so often at the heart of family life. Whether they’re keeping traditions alive, spoiling the wee ones, or just there for a blether, this is our way of making sure they’re looked after when the whole clan comes together.”
COSMO’s family-friendly atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for all generations to dine together, with space for big groups and dishes that suit every taste. And with one grandparent eating free, it is a chance for families to enjoy a meal out that does not break the bank.
To mark the launch, COSMO St Enoch invited members of The Dixon Community, a Glasgow-based charity supporting older people and carers, to come along and enjoy a free meal together. The Dixon Community works with hundreds of local people to reduce isolation, support wellbeing and celebrate the role older generations play in family life — making them the perfect guests to help kick off the offer.
The offer will run throughout October at COSMO St Enoch only. To claim, families simply need to book a table with at least two paying adults and one child, plus a grandparent who’ll dine for free.
So, as the old tune goes, “You cannae shove yer granny” but you can treat her to dinner at COSMO St Enoch.
Discount Terms and Conditions:
• Offer valid Monday to Thursday from 1st to 31st October 2025.
• One grandparent dines free when accompanied by a minimum of two full-paying adults and at least one child (aged 11 or under) at the same table.
